Many things are beautiful because they are pied, dappled, freckled, splattered or spotted.
Clouds in a mackerel sky, sunlight through a leaf filter, the designs on birds eggs, a freckled child,
foliage from two or three toned plants, animals and birds.
Other things are beautiful because of the effects of light and reflection.
Moss on rocks. The bark of trees. Foliage patterns.
Even clothes caught in a ray of sunlight.
